Quality and Environmental Policy

GKN Freight Services Group is committed to the continual improvement of its management and operations, providing a right first time service and minimising any adverse effects on the environment.

This will be done by:

1. Complying with regulatory, legislative, contractual and other obligations, anticipating them whenever possible.

2. Ensuring compliance with the international standards for quality and environmental management.

3. Deploying an integrated management system that will:

  • Provide for setting and reviewing objectives
  • Have the aim of improving our service
  • Be based on the ethos of ‘prevention rather than detection of errors, by careful planning and execution of all activities
  • Control and reduce the adverse environmental impacts of our activities to prevent pollution

4. Seeking to satisfy the needs of our customers by adapting our services to meet their current and future requirements;

5. Ensuring individuals are trained to enable them to fulfil their roles and the work they undertake.

6. Working with our customers, partners and employees so that the aims of this policy are met through teamwork and partnership.
